Yearly meeting of of the Swiss Association of Laboratory Animal Sciences (SGV) was held at the Technopark in Zürich on December 12-13, 2019 The congress. The meeting program was devoted to the 60th anniversary of the adoption of the 3R-Principle and covered three main areas: refining ethical norms and animal protection in biomedical experiments; An overview of the latest equipment, tools and technologies for biomedical research and the promotion of animal laboratory science. The scientific part of the event brought together 450 leading European, American and Canadian scientists. During the congress, 35 sponsoring companies organized an exhibition of equipment, machinery, software, food and consumables for vivariums and research laboratories. On December 14, 2019, FELASA BoM meeting was held at the University of Zurich.
