GALAS-2019 Annual Meeting and Information Day was hosted by Iv.Beritashvili Center for Experimental Biomedicine on January 25, 2020. The event was attended by P. Imnadze, Deputy Director General of the National Center for Disease Control and Public Health. President of GALAS K. Mulkijanyan reported the work done by the organization in 2019 and shared activity plan for 2020. During the Information Day, the issues of animal care and use in Georgian biomedical institutions and ways of implementing EU Directive N 2010/63 in Georgia were discussed. The Director of Iv. Beritashvili Center of Experimental Biomedicine D. Nadareishvili, Academician of Georgian National Academy of Sciences N.Mitagvaria, Deputy Director of TSU Natishvili Institute of Morphology G.Pichkhaya, TSMU Prof. K. Gambashidze, Head of the Lab of Cell Immunology at Agrarian University B.lasareishvili, Chair of the NCDC IACUC Dr.M.Ramishvili and other attendees participated in final round table disscussion.
