Marine Ramishvili graduated from the Georgian Agricultural University with master’s degree in veterinary medicine in 2007. Since 2009 she has been working as a bacteriologist at the laboratory of Especially Dangerous Pathogens at the National Center for Disease Control and Public Health/Lugar Center. Currently M.Ramishvili  is a PhD student at the Georgian Agricultural Universityin the field of microbiology, virology, epizootology, micology, immunology, parasitology and is working on brucellosis thesis. She has also completed a two-year  regional program for the countries of Georgia, Azerbaijan and Armenia: ,,The South Caucasus Field Epidemiology and Laboratory Training Program’’ (SC/FELTP). M.Ramishvili  has participated in several projects funded by CRDF Global/GRDF and now is also participating in one of them, has published more than 15 scientific articles in different Georgian and International journals and is author and co-author of 12 presentations at international scientific conferences and co-author of two books and two brochures.
